Los Cabos "The Capes" is one of the best golf destinations in the world with several magnificent golf courses designed by the most reputable architects, such as: Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Robert Trent Jones II, Tom Weiskopf and the Dye Corporation. Three of these championship masterpieces: Palmilla, Cabo del Sol, and Cabo Real were hosts to the world known PGA Senior Slam presenting famous players: Jack Nicklaus, Dave Stockton, Lee Trevino and Hale Irwin.

Also Shell's Wonderful World of Golf chose Los Cabos twice as its destination. The first time in 1995 the Shell featured Nicklaus and Trevino on the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol and the second time in 2001 presented Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson at the private golf course Querencia.
